MONITORING STUDY OF THE NUS REFORM IMPLEMENTATION AS A TOOL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE EDUCATIONAL INDICATORS SYSTEM
Full text (pdf)
Language: Ukrainian
Abstract. This article examines the role of monitoring observations at the level of basic secondary education as an effective tool for the development of educational indicators. It explores the definition of educational monitoring, the principles and approaches underlying monitoring studies, and their functions. The article describes methods of monitoring and evaluation of educational processes implemented in the context of the NUS reform, as well as approaches to data collection and analysis. Emphasis is placed on the use of reliable data for informed decision-making in education policy. Methods of evaluation and monitoring of educational processes are examined, focusing on the importance of feedback from participants in the educational process for the successful implementation of the NUS reform. It was found that monitoring studies support an objective assessment of the education system over a certain period, identify issues that arise during reforms and gather information to support effective educational management decisions at all levels of government. The article presents sets of indicators derived from a monitoring study of material and technical support for educational processes in pilot classes of basic secondary education. Issues and needs related to the material and technical provision of natural science classrooms in general secondary education institutions have been analysed. Particular focus is given to the role of educational indicators in generating objective data and improving the educational process. The authors emphasise that the creation, improvement and expansion of the system of educational indicators is an important stage in the reform of the educational sector. It is noted that these indicators contribute to an objective assessment of the current state and progress in education. The article also contains recommendations for the improvement of existing indicators of educational quality in the context of material and technical support in the field of education.
