DIGITALIZATION OF OUT-OF-SCHOOL EDUCATION: OPPORTUNITIES AND PROSPECTS FOR USING THE “POZASHKILLIA” PORTAL
Full text (pdf)
Language: Ukrainian
Abstract. The article analyses the process of digitalisation of out-of-school education in Ukraine under current challenges, in particular the COVID-19 pandemic and the full-scale war. The focus of the study is the “Pozashkillia” portal as a tool for digital governance in the field of out-of-school education. The introduction of such information resources contributes to the optimisation of management processes, improved communication between educational institutions and parents, and expanded access for children to out-of-school educational services, regardless of their place of residence or social status. The aim of the article is to explore the development of educational information technologies in out-of-school education and the prospects for using the “Pozashkillia” portal as an additional tool for collecting statistical data, monitoring educational processes, and making effective management decisions. The objectives are to study the digitalisation process in out-of-school education, analyse the platform’s technical structure and user hierarchy, identify its advantages and limitations, and describe how the portal is used at various administrative levels. As a result of the study, it was found that the portal ensures convenient interaction between all participants in the educational process, enables effective administration of educational services, facilitates statistical recording, and simplifies communication between institutions, parents and learners. Particular emphasis is placed on the portal’s role as a means of popularising out-of-school education among the population. The conclusions highlight that the implementation of the information-analytical system “Pozashkillia” is an important step towards increasing transparency, accessibility, and efficiency in the management of out-of-school education. Further enhancement of the platform’s functionality will contribute to the development of lifelong learning in a digital society. Proposals are provided for the development of information technologies in the field of out-of-school education, which will make it possible to create a more effective and flexible system for managing this area of education. Further research in this field may focus on improving the functionality of the portal, expanding analytical capabilities, and personalising the educational process.
