 INFORMATION POLICY OF HUB SCHOOLS AS A COMPONENT OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

 Abstract. The article substantiates the expediency of using the content analysis in Internet resources of hub schools for studying their information policy as a component of the effectiveness of the educational process. Historical retrospective of content analysis is presented as a method of qualitative sociological research. The article also presents the results of the content analysis of hub schools’ websites that was carried out in the research work «Development of the system of hub schools in Ukraine». In accordance with the tasks of the first stage of research, a quantitative survey was conducted to identify the peculiarities of the hub schools functioning at the stage of their formation. A specific set of statistics has been collected. As a result of data analysis, a number of patterns which served as the basis for formulating the tasks of the second stage of research and the choice research methods have been identified. During the second phase of the research (from February to April 2018), a content analysis of the hub schools’ websites was carried out to determine the effecti­veness of this information resource. Content analysis of hub schools’ websites, especially the quantitative component of this method, provided an analysis of their interface for certain categories. In the process of research, an analysis of the general set of the studied objects (in particular 450 websites created during content analysis of hub schools) has been conducted. The results of the study helped to formulate conclusions and make recommendations on improving the effectiveness of information policy of hub schools.
