EDUCATIONAL INDICATORS OF THE GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATION QUALITY ON EXAMPLE OF GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATION
Abstract. The optimization of the system of collecting sectoral statistical information has necessitated the development of a list of national educational indicators of the general secondary education efficiency and quality. The list of indicators developed by the members of the working group includes statistical information collected by the Ministry of Education and Science and the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. In order for the national education system to enter into the world educational space while developing a list of indicators the educational indicators of the organization of economic cooperation and development were taken into account. The list of national educational indicators was approved by the order of the correspondent Ministry after public discussion. Now the national educational indicators are currently visualized on the website of the Institute of Educational Analytics. The developed list of national educational indicators will help to increase the efficiency of education management at the local and national level. It will allow for persons concerned to compare the education system of Ukraine each administrative level, as well as with other countries which use similar educational indicators. The list of national educational indicators is a dynamic model that determines in the future of its further improvement in accordance with changes of priorities in the educational policy of the state. The list of national educational indicators can be used as a basis for the further development of educational indicators in vocational and higher education.
