Full text (pdf)
Language: Ukrainian
Abstract. The article is dedicated to exploring the role of creative human capital in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and integrating innovative approaches into socio-economic strategies. Based on a detailed analysis presented in the study, the multifaceted impact of creative human capital on the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of sustainable development is revealed, highlighting its position as a key driver of innovative transformations. The article outlines the conceptual foundations of sustainable development, wherein creative human capital is viewed as an integral component of the circular economy and social inclusion. The authors substantiate that creative human capital fosters the creation of innovative solutions in areas such as natural resource management, energy efficiency, urban development, and digitalization. The study includes a quantitative analysis of sustainable development indices, innovation metrics, and talent competitiveness across several EU countries and Ukraine. The analysis demonstrates a strong correlation between human capital development, innovation, and the achievement of SDGs. The findings confirm that countries with high innovation potential and a culturally oriented economic approach achieve significantly better results in sustainable development. The authors also examine creative human capital’s contribution to achieving each of the 17 SDGs, emphasizing that all goals require the integration of innovative and creative approaches to stimulate economic growth, social equity, and environmental sustainability. Creative industries are pivotal for developing new technologies for agriculture, promoting healthy lifestyles, advancing interactive educational technologies, supporting gender equality, and enhancing infrastructure. This approach also encompasses innovative solutions for sustainable natural resource management, climate change mitigation, biodiversity conservation, and creating conditions for decent work and economic growth. Thus, creative human capital serves as a vital factor in integrating various sectors to achieve sustainable development. The findings suggest that in Ukraine’s post-war recovery, creative human capital is an indispensable resource contributing not only to economic reconstruction but also acting as a powerful tool to address contemporary global challenges. It ensures sustainable development through the integration of cultural, technological, and economic approaches into national and international strategies.
